Estimates & Scope

• Written proposals describe the scope, materials, and exclusions. Field conditions may require adjustments.
• Unless noted, permits and standard debris removal are included.
• Hidden conditions (e.g., rot, mold, structural/electrical/plumbing issues) are not included and may require a change order.

Payments

• Standard schedule: deposit to schedule, progress payments as phases complete, and a final balance at substantial completion.
• Invoices are due upon receipt. Unpaid balances may pause work and accrue a reasonable late fee as permitted by Wisconsin law.

Changes & Extras

• Changes must be documented via a signed change order showing price and time impact.
• Verbal requests are not authorized until confirmed in writing.

Scheduling & Access

• Start dates are estimates and may shift due to supplier/permit delays or unforeseen conditions.
• Homeowner will provide access to work areas and utilities during normal working hours.

Warranty

• EZ Remodeling workmanship is warranted for 1 year from completion. Manufacturer warranties apply to materials.
• Warranty excludes normal wear, abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, and damage by others or by moisture events unrelated to our work.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Wisconsin law, EZ Remodeling’s liability is limited to the contract price. In no event are incidental or consequential damages recoverable.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Venue is in Dane or Rock County courts.
